TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) spokesman Rian Ernest said he was confounded by the arrest of United Development Party (PPP) chairman Romahurmuziy alias Romy in Friday’s sting operation (OTT) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Rian hoped the anti-graft agency could immediately resolve the case.
“PSI views this as a legal case, and thus calls on the KPK to work professionally in resolving the case,” Rian said in a release Tempo received on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Rian said the OTT was proof that law enforcement and the battle against corruption in the country were right on track. He added the OTT had also shrugged off allegations of legal discrimination in the Jokowi administration.

“There is no legal protection from Pak Jokowi for those who are against the law,” he said.
Rian went on to say the OTT had displayed that the recent speech by PSI chair Grace Natalie on the feeble eradication of corruption within political parties rang true.
